(More customer reviews)There are so many things to like about this chipper/shredder: 1)solidly built 2)reliable and powerful engine-it takes a heavy pull on the cord to start, but usually only needs one pull 3)built-in hitch to attach to a riding lawnmower 4)excellent chipper. Unfortunately the shredder design is poor-the chute for the shredder is vertical with a flat bottom and the blades located on the side. Toss a small branch in and it just sits there; mash on it with the pusher and the branch bends, but because of the flat bottom, it frequently doesn't get pushed into the blades. It is very annoying to have to mash down with the pusher 10-20 times just to get a few small branches to feed into the blades.
